PREVENTIVE HAMMER MILL MAINTENANCE IN HUNGARY

A customer in Hungary has four types of GHM Hammer mills in its production lines. To limit the risk of unscheduled downtime of the hammer mills, this customer has opted to conclude a service contract as part of which we perform preventive hammer mill maintenance twice a year. In this case, the regular weekly and daily maintenance is performed by the customer himself. However, the customer is advised about which parts to stock on site.

Maintenance times are always scheduled together with the customer to ensure it coincides with scheduled factory shutdowns. As a result, the customer does not lose valuable production time, while utilisation the production lines with maximum effectiveness. As such, a preventive maintenance contract provides increased production security, without losing valuable production time.

This approach has several advantages. For example, the customer does not have to manage a large and therefore expensive stock of parts. Furthermore, machines are less likely to malfunction unexpectedly, because they are fully checked twice a year and maintained preventively. This ensures maximum factory uptime and cost savings for keeping unnecessary stock and production interruptions.

  • Planning an appointment
  • Sending our materials (including parts)
  • Visit by our service technician
  • On-site maintenance for two days
  • The technician leaves and the maintenance materials are returned
  • The next appointment is scheduled
